Up-to-date information about Warsaw city public transport ticket prices in Poland, their types and discounts is published and presented. Warsaw city transport is very well developed and operates around the clock: two metro lines, buses (including night buses), trams, city and suburban trains .
The Warsaw metro has two lines: M1 and M2. M1 crosses the city from the south (Kabaty) to the north (Młociny) and runs through the Center (by the Central train station), pl. Bankowy (closest to the Old Town). M2 intersects with M1 at Świętokrzyska station. The M2 will take you directly to Kraków Suburb Street (Nowy Świat – Uniwersytet stop), the Copernicus Science Center (Centrum Nauki Kopernik stop), the stadium (Stadion Narodowy stop) and the other side in front of the Warsaw skyscrapers (Rondo Daszyńskiego stop).
Bus routes can be divided into two groups – express buses marked in red and starting from 400 or 500, and other ordinary ones – marked in black. Night bus routes are marked with the letter “N” and depart from the Central train station every half hour (15 and 45 minutes). It is important to know that you need to press the button in advance to get out at night. Trams passing through the “Stare miasto” (Old Town) stop: 4, 13, 20, 23, 26. Also note that tickets are divided by city zones 1 and 2.

One-time (25, 75, 90 min.), day, 3-day, weekend and monthly tickets can be purchased in the city of Warsaw. They can be used by bus, tram, metro. Tickets can be bought at newsstands, ticket machines and some buses and trams. You can pay in cash or by card. Drivers do not sell tickets. The B ticket must be marked.
