The price of natural gas and tariffs for household consumers are changing again at the beginning of the year. The State Energy Regulatory Council (VERT) has approved new natural gas tariffs for household consumers valid from 1 January 2026 – for many consumers, the price of gas will decrease slightly, although the exact change will depend on the amount you consume and the plan of the selected supplier. The price of natural gas in 2026 decreases to 0.89 EUR per cubic meter, but the fixed part increases to 1.17 EUR. See the new natural gas prices valid from 1 January 2026 in the table below. Gas prices are provided with VAT and for all three customer groups according to the amount of gas consumed. These prices will be valid until 30 June 2026.
