The price of electricity in Lithuania in 2025

Public electricity prices and tariffs (from 1 July 2025) apply to consumers who have not chosen an independent electricity supplier and to whom, in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Electricity of the Republic of Lithuania, the public supplier (UAB Ignitis) must supply electricity at the public electricity price, i.e. whose objects’ consumption does not exceed 1000 kWh during the period specified in the Law on Electricity of the Republic of Lithuania. The services of the public supplier (UAB Ignitis) are currently used by about 0.5 million households. This group of consumers must choose an independent supplier by 2030.

All electricity prices are shown with VAT. If you choose the Efficient plan, you will be charged a fee for the allowed power, depending on the input power in your facility. For example. 1 kW – 1 Eur/month. , 3 kW – 3 Eur/month. etc. This fee is additionally added every month to the amount of electricity you consume.

The time of the daytime and nighttime, Saturday and Sunday energy components in the clocks controlling electricity metering devices is set according to winter time and is not changed when daylight saving time is introduced.
